Protect bellows: During installation, care must be taken to protect thin-walled parts such as bellows from damage caused by knocking, scratching, arc ignition, welding splashes, etc. Chlorine-free asbestos can be used for protection and to ensure that the spreader does not act directly on the bellows.
Direction of flow diversion: For expansion joints with guide sleeves, ensure that the direction of flow diversion is consistent with the flow direction of the medium, which will help ensure the normal operation of the expansion joints.
Fixture: Until the end of installation, do not remove the transportation fixture of the expansion joint for the time being, and remove it after the end of installation, otherwise it will affect the compensation effect of the expansion joint (unless there are special requirements).
Fit the piping system: Displacement not considered at the time of design should not be compensated for by adjusting the expansion joints at the time of installation, but the piping system should be adjusted to fit the expansion joints to avoid torsion or twisting of the bellows.
Bracket installation: Fixed brackets, guide brackets and brackets shall be installed according to the pipeline system diagram to ensure that the brackets meet the design requirements. It is strictly prohibited to test the pressure in the pipeline before the bracket is properly installed to avoid damaging the expansion joint.
Storage environment: The expansion joint should be stored in an ultra-low temperature and dry place to prevent sunlight and avoid damage caused by high temperature, heat source, active oxygen, engine oil, strong alkali and strong acid. It is prohibited to expose and load the strong reflective light source to prevent the expansion joint from bending, deforming or breaking.
